Recently, time.fun was exploding on my X feed. It is a web app that allows people to bid on the price of any experts' time. Paying for an expert's time in exchange for valuable information, service or experience happens everyday in our life. But time.fun turns this century old business into a real time open market for people to bid on the price a person's time. It is one of a few web3 apps that we are seeing today that enable people to turn anything valuable into an asset which opens up doors for speculation, auction and maybe many more monetization methods. What I am hoping to see is how people redeem the time they purchased, start a meaningful interaction with the expert, get satisfying results and come back to buy more minutes. I think that would be a key feedback loop to design well in this product. As I was wrapping up this post, I just saw my buddy Eric Xed this out. It’s harder to financialize social behavior. It’s easier to make financial behavior more social.
