Opening Comments@LucaNetz opened the meeting by noting the team has made a decision but was waiting for one thing to wrap up. He foreshadowed this week is going to be a big for Pudgy Penguins and we should all monitor the official twitter and interact their posts. Luca said he hopes the end of September is as big as August was for the Huddle, as he said we should expect to see more updates on the toy line this week as well as something that makes clearer the vision of Pudgy Penguins. Luca ended his opening comments by saying the Pudgy Penguins team is seeking to solve NFT’s current problem where the main monetization vehicle is airdrops as the team is seeking to shift that vehicle over to IP. Luca also wanted to remind everyone it is @Berko_Crypto birthday. Send him some love and good vibes as he has done so much for the Pudgy Penguin community.Q&AAny update on the Quest Map?Expect an update in the September Update on https://media.pudgypenguins.com/blog. Luca said we should expect a 2nd Quest Map, but after that the team may shift away from maps in the future because of changes in the NFT/macro landscape and they box in the team. There are discussions about the possibility of a dynamic quest map that would update using WebGL.Will there be more licensing opportunities?Yes. There was actually a good amount of opportunities, but the team wants to narrow them down to only quality products that grow the brand and don’t detract from product integrity.Will the toys be sold outside the U.S.?Yes, PMI has distribution capability on other continents.On next merch run will they have more sizes?Yes, XXL will be an option, but in limited quantitiesAny updates on poker cards?Sounds like they are ready for shipping, but the team is waiting for the right time to release.Can we add some Penguin costumes like they had in NYC for Halloween.Possibly next year, but the team thinks the effort to payoff ratio doesn’t support it this year since the effort spent on a seasonal product can be spent on higher payoff ideas.When is clout google getting restocked?This WeekCan we share financial info or does the team want it confidential?Luca said it’s on the horizon as he wants financials to be transparent and to be a web3 leader in this area, but the team is still likely several quarters away since they are still in startup mode.Have any job openings been filled?Yes, 6-7 devs have been hired, and they need more, if you’re interested reach out to Lorenzo.
