# MoneyGram will launch a non-custodial crypto wallet

Money transfer service MoneyGram is set to launch a non-custodial crypto wallet for digital assets in the first quarter of 2024. This wallet will utilize stablecoin technology and enable clients to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies and vice versa.

MoneyGram had previously expanded its cryptocurrency offerings in October, allowing US users to trade and store Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin through its mobile app.

In addition to this development, the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) made a strategic investment in MoneyGram in August. As a result, SDF became a minority shareholder in MoneyGram and gained a seat on the company's board of directors.
