We are a leading **algorithmic trading and AI research firm** building systems that can automate **all our business processes**. Large, general trading systems today can be good, but can also be **unreliable** on the long term, **unpredictable** on short term, and **opaque**: we want to make **progress here**.

We're focusing on **trading and research** for now, but we anticipate creating **many opportunities** for **commercial and public** projects down the road.

Our Principles

### Systematic approach to AI.

The simple scale laws in statistical physics inspire us to do empirically-driven, systematic research. Large-scale networks can be analyzed by evaluating the simplicity of relationships among data, computation, parameters, and performance. These relationships are then used to train networks more efficiently and predictably, and to evaluate our performance.

### This is a competition, we are a team

Our research is highly collaborative and aims to be both top-down and bottom-up in nature. We emphasise the inclusion of everyone - researchers, engineers in determining the direction of our research.

**Hyper88** is a **private company** based in **Singapore**. A variety of disciplines are represented in our team, from **physics to machine learning to business**. Towards advancing our mission, **we work together as a cohesive team that shapes the future**.

In exchange for **competitive salaries** and **benefits**, we **do not require you to be in the office** every day. This is an **entirely remote company**.

### What to Expect

Hyper88's interview process will vary depending on the candidate, but here's what it usually looks like:

*   **First chat**. You’ll have a chat on discord with one of our staff. If this goes well,
    
*   **Skills**.
    
    *   For **technical** roles, you’ll have a one-hour technical screening interview.
        
    *   For **trading** roles, you'll get an assignment. These typically involve exporting your track record and response to several questions;
        
    
    If this goes well,
    
*   **Final checks**. We’ll ask for some **references and have you chat** with our leadership. If this turns out well,
    
*   **Offer**. We’ll make you an offer!🎉
    

**It's not a strict format**, but it provides a good sense of what to expect. You can complete the **entire process within a few days**.
