The Walkman is stuck and playing I Don't Want this to Be Over forever. I feel like I'm in a haze and have slept for ages. Glancing over the couch next to me, I realize that I was sleeping on my back, feet off the ground! The headache and parched lips remind me of the hangover from last night. I take a sip of the coffee left yesterday.Tastes awful, but it does the job - pulling me back to reality. Huh! Reality. But who would actually know what is real and what is not? Oh, that dream! It was the same nightmare.For days,I've been having the same dream.It was so REAL that I can still hear that voice,a female voice that sounds electronic, hazy and fragile. Yet, it can dive into the depth of my soul. Maybe it's just playing too many video games. Anyway, I need to wrap up my work ASAP. Soul Liberator has been sold to a collector from New York— yep, the posh people. I never liked them much. But I need the money. The landlord has left me no choice.Soul LiberatorIt is true that the tendency to herd is encoded in the DNA of these human beings, but there will always be individuals with the courage to speak their minds and break away from the pack. I try to use my art as a weapon to show the confrontation between a small group of people and commercial machinery, and to encourage personal expression in the face of indoctrination that tries to make everyone think, look, and talk the same. Oops,I must stop mumbling... Well, I believe Soul Liberator still needs a LED panel. I want to add a screen that loops the logo of big brands, just like us being brainwashed by the fashion companies everyday! But how can I get one? I don't have a dime for it.
