It is a two-month program designed to accelerate the growth of native projects within the Mode ecosystem. And it's not just an Accelerator, it has its own characteristics. As we can see on [official webcite](https://www.mode.network/yield-accelerator), unlike other accelerators, participation is FREE, you don’t need pay your tokens for it. First of all, we draw your attention to the application deadline, because there are very few days left. Don't miss your last chance. Mode Yield Accelerator will run **until the end of June 2024**. To be eligible for the program, projects must be able to deploy to Mode mainnet in that time. However, we welcome projects who can deploy sooner in April or May. ### WHO IS ELIGIBLE? You are eligible if: 1. Your project is related to **Yield or DeFi Primitives** 2. Your project will be launched on **Mode** network It's important that your project **hasn't launched yet**! If you have already launched it, then you are not eligible to participate. So you can demonstrate ideation, prototype, testnet or nearing mainnet launch. Preferred stage of the applicants is from working prototype to nearing mainnet launch. 3. Your project brings **unique utility** to Mode. ### WHY YIELD? Yield is the central part of the flourishing ecosystem. Keeping that in view, the platform seeks projects and builders. Hence, it wishes to get some partners to invest in its products. The DeFi sector has gone through an enormous spike in the recent twelve months. Subsequently, cutting-edge DeFi applications like LRT and exclusive DeFi primitives such as Ethena have also surged. Apart from that, the other projects such as Velodrome and Pendle have also jumped to a great extent. Mode’s initial accelerator project takes into account the different verticals within the world of decentralized finance. ### **Selection Criteria:** The evaluation committee will prioritize applications based on: * **Novelty of the application**: Encourage innovative new projects that contribute unique value to the Mode ecosystem. * **Mainnet Readiness**: Prioritize projects close to a successful mainnet launch on the Mode network. * **Mode Compatibility**: Emphasize projects built specifically for the Mode network, not deployed on other chains. * **Incentive Design**: Reward thoughtful and sustainable tokenomics models for the project’s long-term growth. ### Categories There are 6 categories in which you can participate and win your prize: ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/a013466f068ea802b51dd16f29cf1594be5b9f2c2623ac0e280efdbdb11776af.png) 1. **DeFi:** Yield Aggregators, Leveraged Yield Strategies, Rehypothecation / CDPs, Derivatives etc. 2. **Restaking:** Crosschain restaking asset utilization, leverage products, restaking indices, L2-focused AVSs, L3 LRT native yield bridges, Superchain first LRT protocols 3. **CultureFi:** SocialFi, MemeFi, generative music and art etc. 4. **AI:** AI networks with utility for data sharing, labeling, model building, and data verification etc. 5. **Infrastructure:** Account Abstraction SDK, on-chain oracle, intent-based interfacing, liquidity optimization, governance platform, API, staking infrastructure, private key management etc. 6. **Surprise Mode team!** In this category, you can present something of your own that is not listed in the previous five categories, but undoubtedly brings something new to Mode. The team announced in advance that they would prefer something new that had not been seen before. So you have a chance to show your imagination. ### Who is mentors?
