Crypto wallet is a program that allows you to make transactions with cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is not stored on it. It “lies” in the blockchain, and the wallet stores a secret key, which makes it possible to make transactions. This key is like a bank card that gives access to the account. Crypto wallets are divided into custodial and non-custodial. Non-custodial ones are “hot”: desktop, mobile, online - and “cold”: hardware and paper. Below we will analyze each of these types.
