Hi there! Excited to kick off the Indexy Newsletter with a feature that’s been in the works for a while: You can now create your own indexes! Before diving into this new feature, a quick refresher—especially for those of you who just discovered Indexy. What’s Indexy? Indexy is a tool to explore, track, and create crypto indices. Think of it as a smarter way to organize and understand the crypto market. 👉 You can try the Beta [here]. This newsletter will cover product updates and insights from Indexy's analytics. Expect to see top-performing indices, investing strategies, and stories from the Indexy community — including big wins, tough losses, and the honest journey we’re on building Indexy itself. So, what’s new this past week?🧱 Create Your Own IndexesHere’s how it works: Step 1: Pick a name, description, cover image, index type (more on this in a bit), and the assets you want to include (Tokens for now, NFTs coming soon!). Step 2: Add assets using their token name or contract address. Set the weights for each asset in your index. Step 3: Review everything and hit publish. That’s it — your custom index is live! Just a heads-up: it might take a few minutes for the data, performance, and KPIs to load. We’re still in Beta-mode 😉.Try it out here.🛰 Track Your Favorite IndexesYou can now track any index you like — they’ll show up in your "Your Radar" section for easy access. In your settings, you can also choose how often you'd like to receive Indexy insights about them, straight to your inbox.📊 New Index TypesMarket Cap Indexes These indexes automatically weigh assets based on their market cap — larger assets have more influence. Great for tracking the overall market or specific sectors in a balanced way. Weighed Indexes (New) With weighed indexes, you choose the exact percentage each asset holds. Useful when you want more control and want to reflect a specific investment thesis or strategy.🏗 New Index: DePin 10DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure) refers to blockchain-powered networks that manage real-world infrastructure like storage, wireless, and energy.
