Onchain streaming is growing with a shared focused to meet fans where they’re at. Sona just launched their new free streaming platform with a genesis auction from Tokimonsta. Spinamp created Spinamp Wrapped to showcase your onchain music. Songcamp made a leaderboard to round out the last day to mint the C4 collection. Sound teased a number of features to make music “multiplayer.” All that goes to say - everything is pointing towards onchain music being fun and easy for fans. Daniel Allan announced his first tour in Denver, LA and Brooklyn in early 2024 with a site dedicated to collectors. Tie it all together and we’re seeing a strong intention to marry the world of traditional music fans with the new generation of collectors. Boys Club and FWB made big announcements as some of the leading cultural voices in the space - each vocalizing a desire to expand their brands to new audiences. It’s no secret that NFTs and web3 took a beating in 2023. But - there’s light at the end of the tunnel and if this week’s market performance is any indicator - we’re in for an exciting year ahead.
