# Tips are the new Mints

Onchain earnings are becoming more accessible by the day. Zora integrated credit cards and Apple Pay while Fabric announced an accelerator to help five creators earn recurring revenue through onchain subscriptions. This comes on the back of Drakula sending out their second week of creator payouts and IYK announcing their Creator:Chipped finalists. We’re seeing a lot more experimentation with custom mints - with many artists dropping songs that you can mint with HIGHER, ENJOY, DEGEN, and others. This all points towards creators testing new formats to earn onchain revenue. We’re seeing a strong shift towards tipping being the primary source of earnings (on top of mints) and more creators leaning into actions that earn them tips rather than mints. It’s very in line with the general market shift of free mints and open editions and everyone is trying to figure out what’s next.
