As more music comes onchain, awareness is essential to building an audience. Sound launched artist email notifications, making it easier for fans to get notified every time an artist drops. Artists are expanding their offerings across many different platforms. Spores launched the Spore One, allowing fans to remix 15 of the leading songs in web3 from their phone. Decent stirred up convo about their forthcoming minting journey - The Box - dropping on May 31st. KOTA - one of the leading Solana music projects - released their first drop on Sound alongside Reo Cragun and Icona Pop. Daniel Allan offered a limited edition Lens post to commemorate his first ever Spotify playlist cover. Alex Masmej - a recent podcast guest - minted a dance NFT on Optimism.
