# Arrogance, Mindlessness, and Insensitivity

Try as a I might, I am occasionally plagued by these three afflictions. Not necessarily simultaneously, but they do appear. And, I suppose, that will always be the case. The opportunity, however, is not to beat myself about the moments that they happen. It’s to recognize that they happen and the faster I recognize that they happen, the faster I can integrate the learning into my personal OODA loop. So, next time, I recognize it even faster and hopefully, drive the 3 afflictions to zero (even if I’ll never get there). Be aware that they happen. Admit that they do. Integrate the learning. Minimize the underlying actions. Repeat.
