# Crypto-MarTech Emerges

The blog posts are long-gone as the Never Stop Marketing website has been relegated to the dustbins of history, but the concepts were there.

And, if you read “[the Decentralized Marketing Organization”](https://www.dropbox.com/s/g71fqh915z8khyh/The-Decentralized-Marketing-Organizatio-How-Crypto-Marketers-Can-Increase-Token-Value-by-Empowering-Community-Members.pdf?dl=0), you’ll see a lot of the same themes.

Basically, in 20176-2017, I spent a lot of time thinking about “Web3 CRM” (or what I called “WRM,” as in Web Relationship Manager).

It’s been very neat to see this very industry emerge and even the “WRM” term get used over the past 6 years.

Crypto-native Martech was another one I threw around as well.

Anyway, the reason that this is on my mind is that I read a post from Multicoin called [“The Web3 Growth Stack”](https://preview.mailerlite.io/emails/webview/163532/77022808520000953) where they basically say that this whole category of “Web3 MarTech” is big enough for them to invest in.

That’s another encouraging sign in the evolution of this industry.

Marketing is becoming more sophisticated. It’s becoming Web3-native, and there are even companies that are specializing this, so we’re well beyond the theory.

Once upon a time, I kicked off an initiative that I called “Crypto-Salesforce” as a project when I was working with DAOstack. We didn’t make it too far, but we got alignment on the vision.

Somewhere out there, crypto-Salesforce is being born.
