# Life is a Battleground

The Carl Jung quote popped up as part of my daily meditation today.

Like many people, I look at the things in my life which aren’t going as I had hoped and I wished they were different…and better.

It would be nice, wouldn’t it, if everything were smooth all the time. It feels like a nice world where we would have no worries.

But not only does that world not exist, it can’t exist.

I think learning to _truly_ accept that and embrace it as well is the key to enjoying life.
