Then, there are the goals, like self-improvement, which are not. These require a type of faith. Faith that the daily commitment will pay off. Whether it’s meditation, yoga, or relationships, or something else, these require a simple commitment to doing it every day. There’s no medal. No ribbon. No trophy. And, many times, though they can be done in a community setting, you’re alone. Or, at least on your own journey. And many times it can feel lonely. And it can feel like nothing is happening. And you question yourself. “Is it really worth all this sacrifice?” “Does anyone care?” “Will it all ever matter or make sense?” But now and then, there’s a subtle sign, one that is so quiet that, if we’re not paying attention, we might miss. Yes.
