Frustration at other drivers. Tough feedback delivered coarsely by a boss, colleague, or a family member. It can be exhausting. One of my yoga teachers, during the final resting period of savasana, will frequently come and adjust my…eyebrows. She’ll just kind of massage them down to a more relaxed state. It’s not as strange as it sounds and it’s helped me become aware of how much of my defenses, my armor, manifests itself in my eyes and face. There’s not much I can do about how others treat me.
