As the founder of atom, the team has excellent development capabilities. The project was born to expand atom. Today, a large number of the top 50 blockchains by market cap are built on the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint. It is clear that the Cosmos ecosystem is thriving and the multi-chain future envisioned by Cosmos is becoming a reality. However, a set of ideas that underpin the architecture of the Cosmos ecosystem is slowly moving away from its original idea: Hub Minimalism. The founders of the Cosmos Hub believed that the functions of the hub should be as few as possible, the main reasons being: 1) prevent non-cross-chain transactions from flooding the network, 2) keep the functions of zone and hub separate, and 3) simplify the hub for better security. I also voted against the introduction of smart contracts by atom. Reopening a hub is far better than modifying an atom * ## Publication Information - [json](https://paragraph.com/@json-2/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@json-2/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@json-2): Subscribe to updates
