# Buy ETH on Coinbase

We recommend Coinbase (no affiliation), but you can use any centralized exchange.Step 1. Sign in to CoinbaseGo to Coinbase.Click on the Buy/Sell button.Click on “Buy” again and change the asset from Bitcoin to ETH.If you haven’t already done so, add a payment method (ex. your checking account) by clicking on “Pay with”.Enter the amount of money you would like to spend.Click on Preview Buy.Review your order. Note the Coinbase fee and make sure you’re comfortable with this (the larger your transaction amount, the lower the fee percent is).Click on “Buy now”.
