# Why I like to Blog on Steemit

In the past few years, I’ve been actively blogging on Steemit in addition to maintaining a few [WordPress](https://helloacm.com/adding-two-short-code-functions-to-wordpress-top-posts-by-number-of-comments-and-top-posts-by-ratings/) blogs. I prefer blogging on Steemit because of several unique advantages:

This means the content is not only persistent but also resilient to loss or censorship. Unlike traditional platforms where content could be deleted, either intentionally or due to server failures, the decentralized nature of the blockchain ensures that my writings remain accessible indefinitely.
