After watching money fly out of my wallet quicker than it got there, I began to search for low-risk ways to invest and earn in the Defi space with minimal effort.

Among numerous options, I found “Liquid Staking.”

Quick points for understanding:

➣ Ideally, staking is only possible on chains with a Proof of Stake (POS) or Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) Consensus Mechanism.

So you can stake on POS networks like Solana, Ton, Cardano, Eth, BNB chain, Tron, Sui, Avalanche, Polkadot, etc.

➣ On a Proof of Stake Consensus Mechanism, participants called validators are selected to add the most recent transactions to the blockchain and establish which blocks are valid.

➣ If you own crypto, Staking offers a way of earning passive income from digital assets without needing to trade them.

➣The major difference between Native staking and Saving in a fixed deposit account is that banks lock up your money and lend it to others to earn interest, but in defi, you are contributing to a safer ecosystem by validating transactions on the blockchain.

➣ Becoming a Validator comes with huge financial and technical requirements. For example, you need 32 Eth to become a validator on Ethereum, and not everyone can meet these requirements. So, to stake your $100 you need a staking platform.

➣ When you stake, you gain rewards for your locked crypto.

➣ Staking means locking up your crypto fully for a certain period, which disadvantages those who need to spend money on other things yet cannot unstake.

Imagine spotting a low cap gem or early presale to ape into but you can't because you staked your Sol for some rewards. Annoying right?
