# Looking into the Mirror

In the mirror, I see a shadow of my past,
A hollow shell of who I used to be.
My heart is shattered, broken at last,
And I feel like I'm lost at sea.

I thought I was reaching for the stars,
But fate had other plans in store.
My parents taken, no longer in our cars,
Leaving me with grief forevermore.

Today should have been a day of celebration,
My dad's birthday, filled with joy and cheer.
But now, it's just a day of devastation,
Filled with memories and tears.

I miss them more than words can say,
My heart aches with every passing day.
I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
And relive those moments, so sweet and divine.

But all I have now are memories and regrets,
A constant reminder of what I've lost.
I hold onto the love that never forgets,
And cherish the moments, no matter the cost.

For even though they're no longer here,
Their love still lingers, ever near.
And I know they're watching from above,
Dancing together, filled with love.
