# Introducing The New Finance Pod!!

On Dec 7th we are excited to start releasing Season 1 of **The New Finance Pod: A Sceptics Guide to New Finance.**

So mark your calendars. We will be sharing the link shortly.

Our goal is simple: to have interesting and balanced conversations about the exciting developments going on in the crypto & open banking spaces, but also challenging realities ahead of us.

Every week [Mike Kelly](https://twitter.com/mikekelly85) and I host a different guest to discuss different areas and topics around [new finance](https://medium.com/new-finance-vc/what-is-new-finance-f52484c0d12d).

In season 1 we cover topics from:

*   regulatory risks & considerations,
    
*   DeFi,
    
*   NFTs & gaming,
    
*   utility & identity,
    
*   social tokens,
    
*   DAOs,
    
*   philosophical takes on the crypto and blockchain arena
    
*   & many more… :)
    

We have some amazing guests lined up for you from some brilliant projects including [Defi Alliance](https://www.defialliance.co/), [DIA](https://www.diadata.org/) to [AAVE](https://aave.com/), and some really interesting conversations we can’t wait to share.

Season 1 will be 6 episodes, but we are already planning season 2 with more guests and more formats.

In Episode 1 we kick off with the esoteric and fascinating [Alex Dunsdon](https://twitter.com/alexdunsdon). Alex has a background in advertising and VC before going deep down the Bitcoin rabbit hole which led him into the wider crypto ecosystem. He is a deep thinker and a lifelong learner. Alex is a wizard when it comes to narratives and human psychology. A great place to kick off :)

We can wait to share it with you all and look forward to the feedback as we make season 2 even better!
