Consensys launched their type 2 zkEVM "Linea" public testnet recently. The steps are somewhat similar to the private beta testnet that we participated in earlier. By trying this out, there could be a chance for [$MASK](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24MASK&src=cashtag_click) or [$INFURA](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24INFURA&src=cashtag_click) airdrops Here's a step-by-step guide

ConsenSys CEO Joe Lubin recently confirmed their plans of launching a DAO for funding new projects related to Metamask [$MASK](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24MASK&src=cashtag_click). In the past, the launch of a DAO has typically been accompanied by a token, often followed by an airdrop. So with that said, let's go

Setup Wallet

*   Open Metamask extension.
    
*   Click on the network.
    
*   Click on "Show/hide test networks".
    
*   Check the "ON" option.
    
*   Click on the network again.
    
*   Select "Linea Goerli test network"

Getting Test Funds

*   Open: [https://goerlifaucet.com](https://goerlifaucet.com)
    
*   Enter your wallet address.
    
*   Claim some test $ETH.
    
*   On metamask click on the network.
    
*   Select "Goerli test network".
    

Bridging Funds

*   Open: [https://goerli.hop.exchange/#/send?token=ETH](https://goerli.hop.exchange/#/send?token=ETH)
    
*   Connect wallet.
    
*   Select $ETH in the Send option.
    
*   Select "Goerli" in the From option.
    
*   Select "Linea" in the To option.
    
*   Enter the $ETH amount.
    
*   Click on Send.
    
*   Confirm the transaction.
    

Transferring Funds

It's simply sending some $ETH to another wallet.

*   Open Metamask.
    
*   Click on "send".
    
*   Enter the $ETH amount and wallet address.
    
*   Click "send" & confirm the transaction.
    

Trying Out A Dapp

*   Connect wallet: [https://swap.goerli.linea.build/#/swap](https://swap.goerli.linea.build/#/swap)
    
*   Swap between $ETH and crWETH or crUSDC.
    
*   Adjust slippage or swap amount if the transaction fails.
    
*   Go to the pool tab.
    
*   Select Pair $ETH & "crWETH" or "crUSDC".
    
*   And add liquidity.
