1.  WHAT IS SUI ?
    

SUI is the world’s first permissionless Layer 1 blockchain

They are also a decentralized, proof of stake blockchain

Ex-members o META (facebook) came together to form “Mysten Labs” the company behind Sui

They are also building the MOVE, which is an open source smart contract programming language

Sui is also said to be valued at over $2billion

2.  HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN A POTENTIAL SUI TOKEN AIRDROP ?
    

a) Install and use the Sui Wallet

You’ll have to install the “Sui Wallet Browser Extension”

Click “Add to Chrome” then afterwards click “Create a New Wallet” and set it up.

b) Request Sui devnet tokens

In your Sui wallet, click on “Request Devnet Sui Tokens” You will receive 0.05 $SUI afterwards

To request more SUI devnet tokens, click on the 3 lines on the top right corner of the wallet

Then click “Request Devnet SUI Tokens”.

c) Stake and Earn Sui

In your Sui wallet click “Stake & Earn SUI”

Afterwards select the validator you want to use to stake your Sui and the amount you want to stake and click “Stake Now”

You can unstake and withdraw your SUI in that same page.

d) Mint Sui Capys NFT

\- Go to capy.art

\- Connect your SUI wallet

\- Then go to “ My Collection” and “Capys”

\- Select “Get a free Capy”

\- Then approve the transaction in your SUI wallet

You can mint upto 2 Capys, then you can decide to breed or sell your Capys.

e) Register your domain with Sui Name Service

\- Inside the Sui wallet go to the Apps tab

\- Click “Sui Name Service” It would direct you to suins.io

\- Choose your desired name ending in .sui or .move

\- Click Register Name

\- Connect your SUI wallet and approve it

f) Interact with protocols in the Sui ecosystem

There are many projects built on Sui

Many of them have not released their token yet and might also do an airdrop

3.  UPDATE FROM SUI
    

SUI says that the Mainnet is launching in Q2 of 2023 and that there are no plans of an airdrop

It’s better to be safe than sorry, therefore i’ll keep interacting till the mainnet launch date is announced according to history, the biggest airdrops will not tell you that they will be doing an airdrop.
