# Week-5 at EIF 3.0

*   The week started with me thinking about what to build at this mammoth opportunity I have to showcase myself and thinking about a good idea was really hard, more complex than building i’ll say.
    
*   With that we also had our Defi presentations in which each fellow was assigned a Defi protocol to research and then give a 4-minute presentation on it, I was assigned PoolTogether.
    
*   So poolTogether is a no-loss defi protocol in which multiple people deposit USDCs and stand a chance to win in the lottery, the lottery amount is the interest generated by the vault in which the USDCs are staked.
    
*   Now my spidey senses sensed that something was missing in the PoolTogether: users/EthMaxis can’t deposit ETH to stand a chance to win in the lottery and this is how I met my project for EIF (haha did you get it ?).
    
*   so I will be making **Lachieo** , an ETH-based No-Loss lottery system with three different tiers (High,Mid, and Low) according to the deposit you make and for the duration, you stake the Eth.
    
*   The current week, i will be reading PoolTogether ‘s smart contract,go though some defi-channels and learn about Aave and compound.
    
*   This week was pretty relaxed,now I’ll gear up things and speedup the development process.
