# It's only an island...

Over the past few years I have been a lurker, a novice, a zealot, and, happily, a contributor to web3. While I can’t deny that it’s often a confusing, fast-paced, insular echo-chamber, I’ve also never quite felt so much desire to help create something as I do within this community. “It’s only an island if you look at it from the water.” - Chief Brody I’m not exactly sure where this project is going quite yet, but I think I’m going to try and work it out here. I hope to meet you along the way. ▁▇
