# Creative Slam Session (CSS) #1

Last night Emma-Jane MacKinnon-Lee and itsAggy hosted our very first K$D Creative Slam Session (CSS) with <9B9>.

### Creative Slam Sessions bring together artists, designers, models, musicians, photographers and more for a truly decentralised in-person exchange of creativity that can't be constrained.

So much so that the boundaries between digital and physical begin to disappear.

_We ran a free photoshoot event where all content shot and produced is entirely CC0 and curated, edited and shared with the community._

One of the most significant parts of CSS, like the one run last night, is that the content isn’t simply a charitable labor of love, but rather a reliable way to remove high friction obstacles and gatekeepers who arbitrarily keep you from reaching full success out of your way.
