I think I’d rather be lost in the middle of the night than try to argue with the riddles forming in my mind I wouldn’t be here standing in the middle of it all If I didn’t choose to blink my eyes and see the world for what it is right now Everyone keeps a fire in their eyes to try and keep the fight in their lives They push through scorns and trials despite their weary hours and sure enough, they keep moving on. I think I’d rather be fighting off the currents of the norm than just pretend that I’m a blurring image in their life I wouldn’t reach the top and seize the fate that I’ve uncovered If I refused to face the sins and bleeding wounds the world’s trying to heal Everyone keeps a fire in their eyes to try and keep the fight in their lives They push through scorns and trials despite their weary hours and sure enough, they keep moving on.
