# BALI BLISS OR BLUES?

Landed in Bali with the wife and kid at 2:10 PM today. Guess what I did from 2:30 to 4:00? Sat through an induction on how to submit travel requests for a new job. What have I been doing since 8 PM? It’s 9:45 now, and I’m sat in the hotel café, nursing an Americano and lighting a cigarette, watching people relax in the rain. They’re enjoying Bali as an escape from the grind. Sitting on the table right in front of me is my laptop, screen open, displaying a 2026 draft plan for yet another job. I’m obviously grateful for jobs that keep the bills paid. But honestly, watching everyone else laughing cheerfully and enjoying Bali... it just makes me feel a bit jealous and sorry for myself. So, what do you think? Is it my Bali bliss or blues?
