My husband and I bundled up on a cold January morning to take pictures around the North Shore of Massachusetts and the South Shore of New Hampshire. We ended up in Rye Beach, NH where we were lucky enough to spot this magnificent snowy owl. Snowy Owls travel south to avoid the harshest of winter temperatures in the arctic. They can be spotted along the New England coast between November and February, if you know where to look.
