习近平在中共二十大提出了“共同富裕”目标，引发投资者抛售中国股票，10月24日一天之内，中国股市市值蒸发了4400多亿美元；中国前首富黄光裕最近也减持公司股票，套现10亿港元。有美国学者指出，习提出了一份鼓舞人心的愿望清单，但「也是一种既要吃掉蛋糕、又要留著蛋糕的不可能愿望。」
