# 林迪效應

林迪效應是指，對於一些不會自然消亡的東西，比如一種技術、一個想法，它們的預期壽命和它們目前已經存在的時間成正比。即它每多生存一段時間，它的剩餘預期壽命就會增加一點。在林迪效應適用的情況下，死亡率隨時間下降。與此相反，生物上或者機械上的東西則遵從浴缸曲線，過了「兒童期」之後，死亡率會隨著時間上升。
