一个人内心越丰盈，才越谦卑，也更能体恤他人的感受。 国学大师季羡林就有这样一件趣事。 一年开学时，一名新生扛着行李袋四处跑，实在累得不行。 看到一位老人，他以为是保安，就请求老人帮忙看一下行李，他去办入学手续。 折腾半天，这位学生办完手续回来，发现老人还在原地，头顶着烈日帮他看行李。 等到开学典礼时，学生才知道，那位衣着朴素、谦卑有礼的人，竟然就是副校长季羡林。 一个谦逊的人，时刻保持亲切随和、谦虚包容，会让人感受到如沐春风般的温暖。
