Welcome back to The Late Night Brief by Late Night Onchain.

Quick programming change: **The Late Night Brief is moving to Monday mornings.**

Let’s face it—by Friday, most people are ready to check out for the weekend. Monday is when everyone is back, paying attention, and trying to figure out what matters heading into the week ahead.

Every week I sit down with founders, builders, and operators creating the next wave of the internet.

Last week, Robinhood continued sucking up nearly all the attention, Base celebrated its third birthday, and we spoke with builders working across privacy, wallets, infrastructure, consumer apps, and some of the most active projects in the trenches.

Here are the conversations and ideas that stood out most.

🤝 Presenting Sponsor — EasyA Kickstart
---------------------------------------

A special shoutout to our new presenting sponsor for the month, **EasyA Kickstart**.

EasyA has backed some of the most successful founders in tech and is now bringing that experience onchain.

If you're building in AI or tech on Solana and looking for a place to launch, find community, and get your project in front of the right people, EasyA Kickstart is a name you should know.

Excited to have them supporting Late Night Onchain this month.

🤝 Supporting Sponsors
----------------------

A big thank you to the partners helping us continue giving builders a place to tell their story.

### BNKR

BNKR provides the agentic tooling that allows AI agents to operate autonomously on Base.

They're also expanding onto Robinhood, allowing teams to deploy tokens and pair them with stocks—another interesting example of traditional assets and onchain markets beginning to collide.

### BuilDefi

[**BuilDefi.win**](http://BuilDefi.win) is a new multichain launchpad taking a different approach.

No platform token. No unnecessary complexity.

The goal is simply to create the best possible environment for teams to launch, build, and develop strong communities.

And they're coming to Base soon.

### DTF

**DTF** is a treasury built around some of the world's most valuable companies, compounding as stocks trade onchain.

Hold DTF and you gain exposure to that growth. Stake it and you can earn stocks every hour, with a premium prize distributed to one staker.

Tens of thousands have already been paid out to stakers.

RWAs are moving onchain.

DTF is building a way to participate in that growth.

🧠 What I’m Seeing
------------------

Make no mistake about it:

**The market is still focused on Robinhood.**

For the first time in a while, I'm watching builders from completely different ecosystems all head toward the same place.

New projects every day.

New ideas every day.

New launches every day.

And honestly?

It's becoming exhausting.

It's almost impossible to keep up with everything happening.

Hold times are getting shorter. Rotations are getting faster. People are losing conviction quicker than ever because there's always another shiny object launching five minutes later.

This is where people get themselves into trouble.

You cannot be in every trade.

You cannot catch every launch.

You cannot wake up every morning, check what's pumping, chase it, rotate again three hours later, and expect that to be sustainable.

**Protect your capital at all costs.**

And just as importantly, protect your mental health.

If your entire day revolves around checking prices, seeing what you missed, and trying to chase the next move, eventually this market will wear you down.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is find something you actually believe in, size appropriately, and be willing to sit on your hands.

There's always another trade.

🎂 Base Turns Three
-------------------

Base celebrated its third birthday this weekend.

And even though the chain has clearly lost a lot of its retail trading attention recently, I wouldn't make the mistake of writing Base off.

It's still a massive force in the industry, particularly on the institutional side.

I'll always have a special place for Base because that's where this entire journey started for me. I know so many of the builders, teams, and people in that ecosystem personally.

I want them to win.

And I still believe better days are ahead.

Retail attention moves incredibly fast in crypto.

Three months from now the conversation could look completely different.

Today marks 3 years of Base

A lot has happened:

\- Almost $5B in TVL
\- $46T in stablecoin volume
\- 90% of all x402 transactions

All of this is thanks to the builders and believers

Still day one

🎙 This Week on Late Night
--------------------------

We had another strong group of builders and operators come through the show last week.

### Stonkbrokers

The **Stonkbrokers** team joined us to talk about what has quickly become one of the more valuable protocols on Robinhood.

What stood out to me is that Robinhood traders appear increasingly willing to reward projects bringing actual technology and innovation—not just another meme.

### Motion

The **Motion** team came on, and I walked away extremely impressed with the CEO and their vision for bringing tipping culture back to Robinhood.

It's simple, social, and actually feels native to the way people already interact online.

### CPX

The lead developer from **CPX** joined us after the team's recent raise to explain why they're focusing heavily on privacy.

Privacy continues becoming more important as compute and AI become more powerful, which makes this a particularly interesting part of the infrastructure stack. Theres a reason why they still are the top project on CPX by a long shot.

### Bitget Wallet

**Shen from Bitget Wallet** joined us to discuss wallet infrastructure and how they plan to compete in one of the hardest categories in crypto.

Everyone wants a piece of the wallet market, which means differentiation and distribution matter more than ever.

### Trading Tulips / Sibyl Labs

**Trading Tulips** came on to give us the latest from Sibyl Labs and talk candidly about what it feels like building on Base while watching attention migrate toward ecosystems like Robinhood.

That's a perspective I think more people need to hear.

### Perpspad

**Perpspad** joined us to talk about what they're building on Solana and where they're taking the project next.

One thing is undeniable: that community is loud.

### Sazare Protocol

**Sazare Protocol** joined us to talk about Uniswap v4 hooks and the new products developers can build around them.

Remember the term **hooks**.

I think you're going to hear it a lot more.

⚡ Momentum Watch
----------------

A few things I'm watching heading into this week:

**Robinhood infrastructure** — The ecosystem is beginning to move beyond pure memes into protocols, tooling, and actual products.

**Privacy** — As AI, compute, and financial activity become increasingly digital, privacy is moving from a niche talking point toward core infrastructure.

**Wallet competition** — Everybody wants to own the interface where users interact with crypto. That battle is only getting more competitive. Look at fomo vs Pump for instance.

**Onchain stocks** — This remains one of the most interesting narratives in years. We're watching crypto and traditional equities begin to merge in ways that weren't possible before.

🎥 Clip of the Week
-------------------

This week's clip comes from **Motion**.

They're bringing tipping culture to Robinhood, and I think the concept is genuinely interesting.

Crypto spends a lot of time building complicated financial products, but some of the best consumer ideas are simple:

Someone creates something you like.

You reward them.

Motion is trying to make that experience native to Robinhood, and I think there's something there.

👀 Things Catching My Eye
-------------------------

Something I'm starting to notice on Robinhood is a shift in what traders are rewarding.

Memes obviously aren't going anywhere—CashCat running to around a $200M valuation after its Robinhood listing is proof enough of that.

But we're also watching projects with actual technology begin commanding serious attention.

Stonkbrokers is one example.

Motion is another.

Privacy infrastructure, launchpads, tokenized stocks, DeFi tooling—it's all starting to show up alongside the memes.

And I actually think that's healthy.

An ecosystem can't survive forever on people rotating between memes.

The strongest chains eventually need both:

**Culture that attracts attention and technology that gives people a reason to stay.**

If Robinhood can develop both at the same time, that's where things get much more interesting.

* * *

📡 Closing Signal
-----------------

The market is extremely difficult right now.

Attention is limited.

Liquidity is limited.

And there simply isn't enough money to make every new project a winner.

Keep that in mind before entering something just because everyone on the timeline is talking about it.

Ask yourself:

**Would I actually be comfortable holding this for a while if the attention disappears tomorrow?**

If the answer is no, maybe you shouldn't be buying it in the first place.

Protect your capital. Protect your sanity. There will always be another opportunity.

As always, we're live Monday through Thursday covering the builders, ideas, and technologies shaping what's next.

If you're building something you think deserves to be featured—or know a team with a story people should hear—send me a message.

If you enjoyed this edition, share it with a builder, trader, or friend who'd get something out of it.

See you next Monday.
