# LZP Overview & LZP DAO By [Layer Zero Punks](https://paragraph.com/@layer-zero-punks) · 2022-04-20 --- Introducing Layer Zero Punks and the LZP DAO. Inspired by the original [CryptoPunks](https://larvalabs.com/cryptopunks), Layer Zero Punks are the first Punks with the ability to traverse across different blockchains using layer zero omnichain technology by [Layer Zero Labs.](https://layerzero.network/) On April 13th, a total of 1000 Layer Zero Punks were created in a free public mint across 7 different chains: 500 LZP on Ethereum 80 LZP on Polygon 80 LZP on AVAX 80 LZP on Binance Smart Chain 80 LZP on Arbitrum 80 LZP on Optimism 80 LZP on Fantom After a successful mint, the LZP DAO was [proposed](https://snapshot.org/#/layerzeropunks.eth/proposal/0x7af7c5c1e88d8b1e7c4a0ff462850d07baa3b5b44c9a774e6b70ab036ee49e4d) and ratified by the community along with a commitment to dedicate 100% of proceeding royalties to the LZP DAO Fund. All major proposals and decisions concerning the LZP DAO will be voted on by the community through [Snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/layerzeropunks.eth). The first LZP DAO [proposal](https://snapshot.org/#/layerzeropunks.eth/proposal/0xfff0cd52db44589eb8e4618a61abada7837b478a0285a3c1b3100ab3515fcb19) was ratified on April 17, 2022 with the intention of Jumpstarting LZP DAO with 1.5 ETH Acquisition of 1 x Gh0stly gh0sts NFT [txid link](https://etherscan.io/tx/0xa64543f1ed209c9688d9913531b16e4dd1456bf20173de2b1391765c406b4e21) and 0.15 ETH to acquire LZP for LZP Vault which will be randomly purchased from the day of this post to the next. Gh0stly Gh0sts is the first omnichain NFT project and the LZP community believes in their historic value. The LZP Vault will be used for acquisition of LZP Punks. Use of acquired punks will be voted upon by the community (giveaways, collaborations, etc.).
