園の先生に相談したところ、園の方針で完食指導を理解しました。量を減らす対応はしてもらったもの、残すことは受け入れてもらえなかったと言います。活動まで居残って給食を食べていました「いつかは帰りの会まで残っていたことも。 「他の皆さんも頑張って食べているので」とも言われてしまいました」 週に２日間弁当の日を活用しながら、ごまかしごまかし卒園まで乗り越えた鈴木さん。 、完食指導による悩みは小学校でも続きました。 量を減らす際にも、苦手なメニューだけでなく全てのメニューを一律に減らされて、汁物は底が透けて見える「か、クラスメートの注目を集めてしまったことも娘にとってはつらかったようです」 「量を減らすたんだから食べられるよね」 「小学生なんだから食べなきゃ」 といった周囲からのプレッシャーを感じて、給食をノルマや修行のように感じた事がありました。
