# The Casanova Seduction Strategy for a Solid Web3 Community Growth

Yeah, I know the guy in the picture is chasing conversions but if you stick around for a while, I’ll show you how to magnet them.

Seduction is the less-talked-about ingredient that can make or break your success in web3.  
And when you finally get to understand it and implement it genuine miracles can take place. I’m talking…

> High engagements and interactions on Twitter and discord
> 
> More community members without you having to lift a finger
> 
> And best of all, more people buying into your brand (minting your nft)

As a plus, you get that overwhelming feeling of fulfilment, knowing you have helped quite several people solve a problem or get a result.

This strategy was used by Clayton — who built Martin Weiss’ Safe MoneyReport into the largest $99 financial newsletter in the world In the late 90s and early 2000s — Robert Green and it is exactly what Cleopatra used to get emperors to do what she wanted.

This concept was well detailed by Robert Green in his book ‘The Art Of Seduction.’ In it, he defined seduction as

> “…A process of penetration : Initially penetrating the target’s mind, their first point of defence. Once seducers have penetrated the mind, making the target fantasize about them, it is easy to lower resistance and create  
> physical surrender “

> Now let’s look at this in the context of web3 marketing. In web3  
> our goal is to  
> \>Grab our typical audience’s attention,  
> \>Win their interest (penetrating their mind),  
> \>Make them fantasize about what life will be like if they own our product And >get them to take concrete action in this direction (physical surrender).

Green’s definition is amazing but there’s just one little, tipsy, tiny cluster of letters I would like to add to let you see the picture clearer — Attraction.

I like to think of seduction as an attraction. It is making your audience come to you without pasting gigantic ads on their faces with the CTA **‘CLICK HERE’**

Whatever makes you more attractive, also makes you more seductive and that grants you the power to sell more effectively. so the question is how can you be more seductive?

How To Be More Attractive

Green once said

> “Every seduction has two elements that you must analyze and understand:  
> First, yourself and what is seductive about you; And second, your target and the actions that will penetrate their defences and create surrender”

**When it comes to web3 marketing, it begins with YOU**

What you have to offer and what’s seductive about your product. Which of its benefits are the most intriguing how do they match up to your audience’s core desires?

Then you consider what is seductive about your team, your community managers and those representing your brand. Things that when displayed will make your ideal audience like and trust them

You see, successful seductions don't begin with techniques, hacks, strategies or sitting at a round table. Successful seductions begin with your personality and your ability to express some qualities that attract people  
and ignites their emotions.

Here are some universal characters that attract and repel people

when you have identified your attractive character then you are ready to move to the next step.

Consider Your Product

> Being seductive is always about matching what you have to what others want.

This simple statement is the difference between a billion-dollar brand and a struggling one.

You see, you must always match what you have with your audience’s wants… their need at every point.

This was something Casanova implemented that made him irresistible to almost all women of his time. Whenever he met a woman, he would observe to find what was missing in her life, once he has found it he’ll provide it.

This made him the ideal lover because somehow he always seemed to know their needs and provide them. Well, it’s no mystery at all.

You see, when you know your audience’s needs, desires and pain. You can speak to them more intimately and when you do, just like a Pirate who has found some lost treasure, they see you as someone who can give them what they need.

and they say yes to you

For this to work, as I said earlier, **you would need to find out the exciting benefits of your product and match them to your audience’s core desires.**

Beyond matching your product you have also got to match the attractive character (you) to their needs.

Remember those attractive universal attributes?  
If they’ve got doubt, show them your expertise.  
If they appear to be unsatisfied with certain things, be generous.  
If the crypto world seems to be in crisis, be caring. This brings us to the last point

Build a Strong and Attractive Frame

**_Frame is simply the background motivation (ignition) behind an interaction_**

Let’s say some kids come knocking at your door on Halloween night — the dominant frame there is ‘kids looking for candy’

or some marketers walk up to you with a product, flier or form — the dominant frame is ‘a salesman trying to sell you something’

Do you get the picture?  
_cool, let’s move on._

To be better at seducing (attracting) your audience, you’ve got to have an appealing frame

Web3 founders and marketers make the mistake of building their projects on\*\* ‘hype’\*\*

Hype poses you as someone needy. Think of a salesman who has got to sell 5 products to be paid and then he met you to get his second sale for the day. He’ll say all the hype words to ensure you buy.

> The more you appear to ‘need” whatever it is you’re asking  
> for, the less likely that person is to give it to you.

Let’s consider these two frames.

A Founder who wants his community members to mint his NFT so he can raise funds and a founder who wants to help his community members save money by identifying scam projects with a tool

Now tell me which founder do you feel attracted to?

Yeah, right… the first is straight-up repulsive. Let’s look at more seductive frames.

> A founder with the expertise creating a tool to help solve a biting problem
> 
> A founder reaching out to help make life easier for you
> 
> A founder who fights against the long jawed, saliva dropping enemies sucking your money and who uses unconventional means to create mediums for you to earn in this space

In the last example, the founder provides security, creates opportunities and has knowledge. These are things his audience deeply wants — remember, being seductive is about matching what you have with what others need.

You should note that whatever frame you exhibit with your community is one that you speak from and it integrates into all your marketing efforts and it affects how the brand is perceived

_so you’ve got to pick a truly seductive frame_

When I got to understand this concept of seduction, it blew my mind because if you can just  
Penetrate your audience’s mind ( by knowing what they want and providing it ).  
Break the defences, objections or doubts they have…  
you can get them to fantasize about your offer and voila! They’ll say yes to the sale.
