**What is Project Myriad?**

The Myriad project is a decentralized social networking platform created with the intention of changing the relationship of users, KOLs, or content creators.

The decentralized social network Myriad is focused on solving the fundamental problems with the hidden private ownership of the modern infrastructure of mass communication.

The Myriad project provides users with full freedom of expression, creative freedom for content creators, or different ways of managing community organizers.

While Myriad is a decentralized project, by no means is a project without a manager. Power is transferred from the traditional company owner to each individual – who manages their own server. That is, each individual has the right to make reasonable adjustments to the laws in the area they govern

  

**How special features of the Myriad project** The Myriad decentralized social network platform is designed into two layers that can support and complement each other: Myriad Federation and Myriad blockchain.

  

**Myriad Blockchain layer** Myriad Blockchain is developed based on the open source of Substrate platform to increase security for users.

  

**Myriad Federation** The Myriad Federation, known as the host of servers, provides scalability and security for the owner’s data. The Myriad Federation server can store data such as posts, communities, and experiences.

  

Each computer can become a Myriad Server or a Myriad Node, or both. Both these protocols support and complement each other such as:

**_Myriad Server Operator maintains complete data sovereignty_** – The network does not force server operators to run content with which they disagree **_Myriad Server can scale to millions of users_** by leveraging traditional horizontal scaling techniques while remaining completely decentralized and censorship-resistant thanks to the ability to operate the server by anyone to maintain their community’s data **_User experience is rapidly enhanced_** with the ability to send and receive Tokens, convert any post into NFT or even automate the democratic management of communities.
