# Pain: Prologue

Hi. I have been thinking on what I should write and why. I have three reasons as to why at the moment: to get to know the platform, get better at articulating my thoughts, and stop being afraid to be vulnerable and publish everything I write and think. I have thought about this for far too long and now is the time for action. Time to start writing. Time to start publishing, start acting and stop thinking so much. Therefore, here, where everyone can see, I declare that I will for at least 10 weeks, starting on the glorious 4th of July 2022, write and publish an article a week on mirror. I have also decided that to begin with I will write about... For years I have had an annoying companion. Annoying is a severe understatement. A painful, devilish and sometimes debilitating companion. His name is different for each that he accompanies. He is a chronic pain in my back and neck and he’s been with me for years. “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.” Buddhist Proverb Until next week. 🐢
