Dear LXDAO community friends! Welcome to our 105th weekly report.

**1\. Welcome New Friends**
===========================

* Hansen: Hi everyone, my name is Hanson. I have been involved with Ethereum since 2017 and have a deep passion for it. Recently, I learned about LXDAO's philosophy and vision and found it very aligned with my values. I'm delighted to meet everyone here.

* Jiwen: Hi everyone, I am Jiwen, but I prefer to call myself Charlotte. I am a new designer here. I used to study architecture and urban design, and now I am starting a business with my friends, focusing on sustainability. I had some experience with blockchain before, but now I am more interested in sustainable projects. I joined LXDAO because I want to gain deeper insights into this field through hands-on participation. Previously, I only learned about some content through groups but never really got involved, so I think this is a great opportunity.

* Loki: Hello everyone, I am Loki, currently a third-year undergraduate majoring in cybersecurity. I am involved in some technical work at the Blockchain Association of Zhejiang University. I learned about LXDAO through my friend Qiang Liang and found it to be a very authentic DAO organization. I hope to join and learn more about DAOs. It's nice to meet everyone here, feel free to ask me any questions.

* Kaka: Hi everyone, my name is Kaka. I just graduated this year, majoring in computer science. I did an exchange in Germany before, and now I am learning Web3 front-end development and in a flexible employment status. I have interned at large companies, done some on-chain data analysis, and volunteered in some communities. I came across LXDAO because I learned about Donate3 and lurked in the Telegram group for a long time, finding the discussion atmosphere very nice. So, I hope to meet more like-minded friends and contribute to the construction of public goods.

* Qilou: Hi everyone, I am Qilou, an interaction experience designer, and I also create digital art. A friend recommended me to participate in LXDAO, so I came to check it out. I previously shared some generative art in DNA. It's nice to meet everyone here!

* Hu Yunxiang: Hi everyone, my name is Hu Yunxiang. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in automotive link design and will soon be pursuing a master's degree at the University of Electronic Science and Technology. Currently, I work at Nantang and recently joined the LXDAO community organization. I hope to learn Solidity and join LXDAO's project team for development. I strongly agree with LXDAO's philosophy and want to contribute in this area. I am also looking for learning methods, so if anyone has any suggestions or information that could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

* Duan Chen: I am from Zhoukou, Henan, 26 years old, very interested in Web3 and blockchain, and I am here at LXDAO looking for more possibilities.

* Wang Ruosong: Hi everyone, my name is Wang Ruosong, born in 1997, and I majored in software engineering at East China Normal University. Although I am theoretically a programmer, I have not worked in the field since graduation, making me a "deserter programmer." I haven't done any programming for several years, but I am willing to relearn and improve myself if needed in the future. I hope to communicate more with everyone, thank you!

* Zhudi: Hi everyone, my name is Zhudi, you can call me Didi. I noticed that DAO organizations serve as a platform, which I find excellent because it connects producers and consumers. In my opinion, it's a great medium. Currently, I am not very familiar with these concepts and am starting from scratch. I am now learning how to use a wallet

We are delighted to have new friends join the community, congratulations on them officially becoming members of the LXDAO community and obtaining their first Badge!

Once a community member’s contribution reaches 500 contribution points, the Governance Group will automatically initiate a proposal for the issuance of a Buidler Card. Holding an LXDAO Buidler Card grants the holder the right to propose and vote on proposals, as well as access to LXDAO community’s financial, technical, and manpower support!

Click here to join the weekly meeting：[https://forum.lxdao.io/c/governance/community-call/22](https://forum.lxdao.io/c/governance/community-call/22)

Here, you can grasp the latest progress of various projects and working groups in the community, and learn about recruitment and bounty needs. Meanwhile, we welcome you to introduce yourself in the weekly meeting, which will help you integrate into our community more quickly.

Here are the key discussion topic for this week's LXDAO weekly meeting:

【[**LXDAO Bounty Guidelines Document**](https://forum.lxdao.io/t/lxdao/1695)】

Marcus has published the LXDAO Bounty Guidelines Document on the forum, aimed at helping LXDAO members quickly understand how the bounty mechanism works and find suitable bounty tasks to earn rewards through their contributions. Any LXDAO member can apply for a bounty based on their expertise and interests. The post provides a detailed roadmap for the entire bounty application process, including application, review, update, registration, announcement, reward, and archiving steps. Different working groups have different bounty incentive ranges, including governance, operations, and project incubation. The post also lists the bounty scopes and application details for each working group. For contributors not belonging to the aforementioned working groups, the guidelines suggest posting their contributions in the community forum or seeking rewards through the proposal process. The document emphasizes the importance of growing conscientiously through contributions and earning corresponding rewards, highlighting LXDAO's spirit of openness, transparency, and collaboration.

【[LXDAO English Intensive Co-Learning Program](https://github.com/IntensiveCoLearning/english)】

This GitHub document provides a detailed introduction to the first "English Intensive Co-Learning" event initiated by LXDAO. The program aims to help participants improve their English listening and speaking skills through at least half an hour of deliberate practice every day. The event lasts for 21 days, with only two leave opportunities per week, requiring participants to submit daily learning proofs to the GitHub repository. The first session runs from June 24 to July 14, 2024, focusing on English learning methodology, dictation, and pure English communication. Participants need to use recommended learning materials and document their learning process. Registration involves forking the repository, creating personal notes, and submitting a PR. Once successfully merged, participants can start learning. They can also join the Telegram group for ongoing communication. The event offers no material incentives; gaining knowledge is the greatest reward. Registration is now open, so join us!

【[LXDAO x Nantang Web3 Rural Construction Plan](https://forum.lxdao.io/t/build-little-things/1772)】

While conducting field research in Nantang Village, Yuxing met Professor Liang Shaoxiong from the team of Professor Wen Tiejun. Professor Wen has been encouraging his team to study blockchain and Web3 since 2017, but progress has been limited due to the gap between rural construction and Web3. Yuxing believes that LXDAO's educational products, such as MyFirstWeb3 and the Intensive Co-Learning program, can provide valuable Web3 education for rural builders. Community member Punkcan is also developing a tool to help beginners understand Web3, which aligns well with the needs of Professor Wen's team. Yuxing proposes to conduct two sessions of the course, with feedback from Professor Liang Shaoxiong, and apply for community funding support. This experiment aims to help Professor Wen's team understand Web3, establish a milestone for the LXDAO education brand, and contribute to rural and Web3 construction.
