Dear LXDAO community friends! Welcome to our 117th weekly report.

**1\. Welcome New Friends**
===========================

* **Fei**: Hello everyone, I’m Fei, but you can call me Big Fei. My side job is in travel customization and freelance writing. Currently, I’m working as a content operator at a tool co-creation community in Dali. I’ve met a lot of friends in the Web3 space, which sparked my strong interest in this area. I’m also curious about organizational structures. However, I’m still at the entry-level stage and hope to exchange ideas and learn from everyone in the future.

* **Hao**: Hello, everyone. My career started in development; I worked as a front-end developer for a few years before transitioning to a product manager role, where I now have around four to five years of experience. I’ve always been passionate about and interested in products. I also keep a close eye on Web3 and often study new products. Recently, for instance, some mini-games on TON have become quite popular. On the surface, they seem simple, but I’m fascinated by the underlying mechanisms and business logic. Overall, I really enjoy working on product-related tasks. Regarding LXDAO, I’m particularly interested in public infrastructure-type products, and I look forward to learning and growing with everyone in LXDAO. Thank you.

* **生财王子**: I started as a website owner in the early days, running many Chinese and English websites, doing not only search engine optimization but also search engine marketing. I officially entered the blockchain industry in 2019, initially working in the mining sector, and then gradually joining various Web3 communities to participate in community operations and development. I have been involved in the growth of several communities, including Debox. Currently, I’m a full-time freelancer seeking opportunities to join a Web3 community full-time. My main focus now is on AI and user growth.

* **Rae**: I’m currently a digital nomad, exploring and living in different places. Previously, I participated in two Web3 SocialFi projects, mainly in operational roles, including content operations and user growth. I haven’t had much exposure to DAOs or other deeper areas of Web3, so now I’m hoping to learn more about Web3 through LXDAO and other communities. I’ve also noticed that many people are integrating Web3 with other aspects of life, which fascinates me. I’m still in the exploratory phase. In the past, I’ve worked in operations, marketing, and brand promotion. If there are opportunities for co-creation in the future, I’d be happy to collaborate.

We are delighted to have new friends join the community, congratulations on them officially becoming members of the LXDAO community and obtaining their first Badge!

Once a community member’s contribution reaches 500 contribution points, the Governance Group will automatically initiate a proposal for the issuance of a Buidler Card. Holding an LXDAO Buidler Card grants the holder the right to propose and vote on proposals, as well as access to LXDAO community’s financial, technical, and manpower support!

Here are the key discussion topic for this week's LXDAO weekly meeting:

[**Proposal: Governance Working Group for S10**](https://forum.lxdao.io/t/proposal-governance-working-group-for-s10/2073)

The Governance Group has published the S10 Governance Group's work summary and plan on the forum, highlighting the group's key role in the LXDAO community. It emphasized the improvements made during S9, including optimizing meeting procedures, implementing several SOPs, and initiating the community incentive system. However, governance research has progressed slowly, and the community's voting participation has declined.

In S10, the Governance Group will continue promoting minimal governance, gradually transitioning to automated governance, enhancing observation and participation in international governance, restarting narrative discussions, and implementing the community incentive system. Additionally, the recruitment plan for S10 proposes hiring two fixed positions and one intern. This recruitment aims to ensure enough human resources to support the execution of governance initiatives, particularly in advancing minimal and automated governance. Recruited members will contribute to tasks such as creating the governance roadmap, optimizing governance processes, and observing international governance ecosystems to continuously improve the LXDAO community's governance system.

[**Proposal: Operation Working Group for S10**](https://forum.lxdao.io/t/proposal-operation-working-group-for-s10/2078)

The Operations Group's S10 proposal focuses on continuing to drive the operations of the LXDAO community, increasing and activating new community members, and enhancing brand influence. During S9, the Operations Group achieved some success through various means, such as growth on social platforms, promoting the "Intensive Co-learning" initiative, organizing online and offline events, and expanding partnerships. However, challenges remain, including a lack of clear operational focus, poor event data, and slow growth in new members and Buidlers.

The S10 plan highlights the following priorities: focusing on "Intensive Co-learning" as a core task, optimizing the promotion and execution paths; planning periodic events and continuously producing quality content; attracting new members through events and bounties to activate the community and cultivate operational talent; and deepening partnerships while expanding the international ecosystem to enhance LXDAO's global influence. The S10 Operations Group will appoint two fixed positions and two interns to continue driving community engagement and brand recognition.

[**Proposal: Forge Working Group for S10**](https://forum.lxdao.io/t/proposal-forge-working-group-for-s10/2075)

In Season 9, the Forge Group focused on advancing and developing LXDAO projects. They successfully launched several new initiatives, such as **Nantang LX**, a project aimed at introducing Web3 technology to rural areas in Fuyang, Anhui, to revitalize the village and explore the integration of Web3 with daily life. The group also initiated the **CryptoDCA Project**, completed the custom development of the **Artela browser**, and promoted the spread of **Optimism** within the **FairSharing** project. Additionally, they completed the development of the **ETHPanda website** and promoted the **Intensive Co-learning** initiative.

However, the group faced challenges such as an overwhelming and unclear scope of demands, insufficient research into public goods ecosystems and mainstream needs, a lack of clear standards for project evaluation, and the absence of a structured training mechanism for new product managers (PMs).

For Season 10, the Forge Group plans to focus on three main areas: driving internal community projects and needs, establishing a systematic PM training framework, and addressing external demands. They will optimize the project initiation and review process, clarify project standards, and create a PM training and promotion mechanism. Additionally, they will tackle external demands such as those from the **Optimism ecosystem** and **Devcon ,** and integrate their research into the main workflow. The budget for Season 10 will allocate one fixed position and two interns.
