# Bridging on Extra Finance

Extra Finance simplifies asset transfers between chains with its built-in bridging feature, allowing you to move EXTRA tokens between the Optimism and Base blockchains. This integrated solution saves you from relying on external protocols or applications.

**What you need:**

*   **Available EXTRA tokens:** ensure your EXTRA tokens are not tied up in staking, lending or liquidity provisions within any protocol. **How to Bridge**

**1)Navigate to Bridge:** access the bridge function from the main page of Extra Finance by selection “_Bridge_”.

**2)Select networks:** the default setting will be “_Switch from Optimism to Base_”. You can change this by clicking “_Switch Networks_” to reverse the flow from “_Base to Optimism_”. Select the direction that suits your needs.

**3)Input tokens:** enter the amount of EXTRA tokens you want to bridge. You can:

*   Use the “_Max_” button to transfer all available tokens.
    
*   Select a percentage of your tokens (25-50-75-100%).
    
*   Manually type in the amount you wish to send.

**4)Confirm and Bridge:** once your amount is set, click on “_Bridge_” and authorize the transaction from your wallet.

**5)Transaction completion:** after a short wait, your tokens will appear on the chosen chain, successfully bridged.
