# Deposit in Moonwell Vaults

Moonwell Vaults provide a simplified way to earn interest by depositing into single-asset pools on the Base network. Your assets, like **ETH or USDC**, are automatically optimized across Morpho Markets to maximize returns, with potential additional rewards from Morpho DAO.

**What you will find in this article:**

**What you need:**

*   **Wallet**: ensure your wallet is connected to Moonwell.
    
*   **Available assets**: have the assets you want to deposit ready in your wallet.
    

**How to deposit in Moonwell Vaults**

**1)Access Moonwell Vaults:**

*   Visit [moonwell.fi](https://moonwell.fi/) and click on “_Vaults”_ in the top menu.

*   Ensure you are in **Base network** to view the available vaults.
    

**2)Select a Vault:**

*   On the Vaults page, review the available options along with details like asset type and current APY.
    
*   Click on the Vault for your chosen asset (ETH or USDC, in our case, USDC). Moonwell will only activate the “Deposit “ button for those assets you currently own in your wallet.

**3)Deposit Assets:**

*   Click “_Deposit_” next to your selected vault.
    
*   Enter the amount you wish to deposit, or click “_MAX_” to deposit your full balance.

*   Review the details, including APY and any potential rewards.
    
*   Click “_Approve_” to allow Moonwell to use your tokens.

*   Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
    

**4)Monitor your deposit:**

*   Once the deposit is confirmed, your assets will appear in the vault, automatically earning interest.
