# How to use Bungee

**STEP-BY-STEP**

**1)Access Bungee**: visit [bungee.exchange](https://www.bungee.exchange/?intro=true) and connect your wallet by selecting “_Connect Wallet_” in the top-right corner.

**2)Start the swapping process**: click on “_Start Swapping_” to access the transfer menu.

**3)Select your source and destination chains:**

**4)Choose tokens for transfer:**

*   Click on the arrow in the token icon in the “_From_” and “_To_” boxes to select your tokens by browsing or typing the token name or contract address.

**5)Enter transfer amount:** specify the amount you wish to transfer, or click “_Max_” to use your entire wallet balance.

**6)Review and choose a route:**

*   Bungee will automatically calculate and recommend the **most cost-effective route** based on best return, transaction speed, and gas costs. This will include the bridge name and its logo.

**7)Optional: Refuel and Recipient settings:**

*   **Refuel**: activate to swap a small amount of your token on the source chain into native gas tokens on the destination chain, enabling transactions upon arrival.
    
*   **Recipient Address:** you can specify a different address to receive the funds. If left blank, funds will transfer to your connected wallet address.
    

**8)Finalize your selection:**

*   Once satisfied, click “_Review Route_” to confirm details.
