# Showcase Your Work with Bento's Landing Page **Published by:** [Marco Rodrigues](https://paragraph.com/@macrodrigues/) **Published on:** 2023-10-11 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@macrodrigues/showcase-your-work-with-bento-s-landing-page ## Content Bento was recently acquired by Linktree, which was one of the pioneer solutions to act as a door to several digital gateways in one single link. Linktree’s approach was to make it very simple for people to access other links, and there isn’t much you can do besides adding links, icons to social media networks, and customization. Bento’s approach is based on the same principle but offers the flexibility to incorporate additional content, including images, videos, map locations, Spotify playlists, link previews, and more. Making it much more visual than Linktree. Having more features is not always an advantage. Bento is not better than Linktree, and vice-versa. You should carefully pick the one that suits your needs the most. In my case, Bento fills the gap I had to rapidly showcase my projects. I have a website, but it serves a broader purpose beyond just displaying my work, making it valuable for those genuinely interested in learning more about me. However, on social media, information flows rapidly, and this is where Bento comes to my aid.Design your Bento pageBento’s customization is very versatile. I’ll share my approach and dive into the different features, but the options are endless. The best way to start is to analyse different templates in this link. Start by creating an account, and you’ll be asked to address a name to your Bento’s link.Create a Bento accountAs mentioned in the slogan “the good ones are still available”, so you are still very much in time to pick your default name/nickname. After providing your email and password, you’re ready to start customizing your page. It will first ask you to add your social media links, and then lead you to the main page.My Bento’s landing pageSomething that I really enjoyed, is that most of the social media blocks already come with the follow option, reducing the need to enter it. When I was first building, I was trying to find the feature to add more social media blocks, like the one you see just after creating the account. It happens that you can simply add a social media link and it will automatically recognise it. The bar below shows what kind of items can be added to the page.List of itemsWhen you add one of these items, it will display a small block. But you can change the dimension by hovering it and selecting the configuration as below.Block configurationThis way of customizing is very simple, just like a UX/UI platform for children. In my case, I’ve split the page into different sections. The initial one showcases the primary links for individuals interested in learning more about me, while the second displays featured articles. My Bento’s featured articlesAt the end, I have a shorter section aimed at Portuguese people. My Bento’s final sectionThe final work is below:Marco Rodrigues🌱I provide freelancing services on a wide range of subjects related to Data Science, AI and Web3. But the main point is to show you how it works, and how clean it looks for someone just entering your universe.SubscribeThis entry is also available on Medium with paywall for non-members. https://medium.datadriveninvestor.com/showcase-your-work-with-bento-dbad50e327b7 👉 Join the Web3 revolution and store your articles on the Permaweb with Mirror. ## Publication Information - [Marco Rodrigues](https://paragraph.com/@macrodrigues/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@macrodrigues/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@macrodrigues): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/marcoacavaco): Follow on Twitter
