He is one the most remarkable minds I have read about . There are a lot of books on answering questions about AI ethics ,most books are either pessimist or optimist but none have the right proportion of the both of it other than this book. Its not just about AI and tech but about Human insecurities and Intellect . And it boils down The AI apocalypse to one point: GOAL alignment . As long as our goals align with the artificial intelligence we are good to go but when its opposite happens, the Terminator happens . First Max defines the basic fundamentals of what is consciousness and intelligent to us and builds up on that. ASI(artificial super intelligence) either be like an enslaved being or Protector god if we want to use it in a way that it doesn’t hinder in our work or use it as a gatekeeper which only takes action when we are at each others throats(which I think will be soon looking at todays religious and political scenarios). It coveys the message that there need to be some ground rules to build a safe future with ai. I would recommend it to everyone as its philosophy for the most part and If you can bear those questions for 10 hours then go for it absolutely. General public also needs to take part in the AI debate as everyone is going to be affected by it and for an unbiased AI everyone needs to have a role in building it so that everyone gets benefited from AI the same . AI can be our greatest invention or the cause of our extinction, it all depends on how we build it. ## Publication Information - [Madhav Goyal](https://paragraph.com/@madhavg/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@madhavg/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@madhavg): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/MadhavG93133640): Follow on Twitter
