# Tesla

Most people know of Tesla because of the car company named after him not because of his accomplishments . Born in one of the poorest regions of Serbia Tesla was the son of Thunder .A young fella short of money but not short of his love for science conducted experiments in solitude . Always condemning the authority and conservatism he got into the fight with none other than Edison . Edison had promoted DC current for years but was being threatened by the technology developed by Tesla .One day Tesla’s lab was burnt by Edison’s people . Tesla had poured every single penny in that lab by conducting high power experiments and expensive equipment’s .Now you might be thinking what he could have probably done? he just made electricity able to be transported to every corner of the globe. He invented AC current which had different properties from DC current which was used in 1900’s for some things and its was a disaster to transport DC current to long distances. Transformers and other electrical equipment used to blow up due to DC and wasn’t thought of a very useful way to transport energy. He made many contributions to the field of electrical engineering which we will never forget . He remained alone to the last of his days doing what he loved the most - Science .
