Notification of the “CCF Science and Technology Results Award” for 2023 The “CCF Science and Technology Results Award” rewards scientific and technological excellence in the computer and related fields and the launch of the CCF Science and Technology Results Award for 2023 on a day-to-day basis, with the following information: Types of incentives Natural science awards: theoretical breakthroughs or original research results in underlying research or applied basic research in computer and related fields, significant/significant scientific findings. Technology Invention Award: There are important technological inventions or technological breakthroughs in computer systems or related products, as well as technological thinking, technological rationales or technological approaches. Science and technology progress awards: major/important contributions in the areas of technology research, technology development, technological innovation, scientific diffusion, promotion of the application of advanced scientific and technological results, and promotion of the industrialization of high-technology technologies. Number of incentives The award for natural sciences, technology inventions is awarded a first-class award and a second-class award, which is determined by the committee in particular on the basis of the award for the year in which it is awarded on the basis of a proportion (no more than 10 per cent of all awards for the first-class award, not more than 25 per cent of all awards) or in the number (no more than three awards for the first-class and no more than six awards for the second-class); The Science and Technology Progress Award is awarded a first, second, third and third prizes, the number of which is determined by the Commission in particular on the basis of the awards for the current year (no more than 10 per cent of all awards for the first class, no more than 25 per cent of all awards for the second class, no more than 50 per cent of all awards for the third class) or the number of awards (no more than 3 awards for the first class, no more than 6 awards for the second category and no more than 10 awards for the third class); The awards for natural sciences, technical inventions and scientific and technological progress awards are selected by the Commission in projects of special excellence and significant contributions during the year, and the awards are not accepted for recommendation or declaration. Each year, there are no more than two awards at the Principal level. Criteria for incentive projects The CCF Science and Technology Outcome Award, the Technology Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award, respectively, assessed the importance of scientific discoveries and the originality of results, the advanced nature of technological inventions and the creative, technological and socio-economic benefits. Recommendations Candidates have not been rewarded by the Government and do not involve State secrets, while there is no dispute as to merit, main completion units and principals and their ranking; the results of the Science and Technology Progress Award project are not less than two years; and the supporting papers of the Natural Sciences Award should be published at least two years ago (i.e. by 30 June 2021). Recommended modalities A combination of declaration and referral systems can be reported by individual/units or recommended by three (including) above-mentioned CCF distinguished members or clerics (non-outcome finishers). At the time of recommendation, the number of nominees for the completion units of the project in question should not exceed one person. Recommendations and selection processes Completing the CCF Scientific and Technological Results Award Recommended Form or the CCF Science and Technology Results Award Declaration. All evaluation projects are subject to completion of the results by completing the CCF declaration of scientific and technological results as an annex to the recommended form and the declaration form. The electronic version of the above-mentioned material will be sent to the secretariat of the Institute by 24 p.m. on 17 July 2023, with the subject of mail being referred to [CCF Science and Technology Results Award].
