# Polygon计划今日在Mumbai测试网启动EIP-1559升级，引入Matic燃烧机制

Polygon在博客宣布将于北京时间今日16时（UTC时间12月14日上午8时）在Mumbai测试网启动EIP-1559升级，以引入其原生代币MATIC的燃烧机制和费用可预期性（fee visibility）。 此前以太坊主网伦敦升级引入了EIP-1559改进提案，该提案更改以太坊主网Gas费用市场机制，引入代币的销毁机制。Polygon论坛上的一项研究认为，引入1559规则后，MATIC年度销毁量将占 MATIC 总供应量的 0.27%。（Polygon）
