# The First POAP I Received

**The event name** POAP.art Sandbox Weekly Canvas - Week 3 2022

**How you received it** A friend asked me to join the POAP server and DM the “Week 3” to the POAP Bot to get the POAP! That was how I got the 1st POAP and got the opportunity to know the POAP project.

**Any special memory you have associated with it** As it was the first POAP I received and I had no idea about the POAP at that time, I am not sure whether “Week 3” was the _Secret Word_ which got leaked or not?

The POAP was actually an access token to POAP.art Sandbox Weekly Canvas where we could draw pixel art on a digital Canvas.

Even “if” it were a leaked _Secret Word_ which resulted in my 1st POAP, this way of receiving the POAP had several advantages:

1.  It worked as an advertisement to at least make me familiar with the POAP project.
    
2.  It made me interested in pixel art as well.
    
3.  It shows the utility of the POAP as an access token.
